Sandusky's popular Lawn Chair Music Series by popular request will be continuing it's Friday night series with eight events this summer.
Come join your neighbors for music and more at the gazebo on the courthouse lawn starting at 7:00pm.
In case of rain, our alternative location is at the Maple Valley School building.
June 28th, 2019 - Third Degree Burns
This group has given us some of our best classic rock performances ever in past years. Their talent, equipment and stage presence ranks second to none providing a show you won’t want to miss.
July 5th,2019 - Laurie and the Lefties
Built on the former Laurie Middlebrook band, this band is known for their wonderful thick harmonies. With four solid lead vocalists they have the vocal depth to pick songs from a vast array of styles and genres.
July 12th, 2019 - Joey VeeReturning this year from Macomb, MI is one of our most popular country entertainers, Joey Vee. He is a singer, songwriter, and entertainer who plays New Country, Pop, Rock, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and original music in his lively high energy performances. In 2015, he was nominated for a Detroit Music Award for “Best Country Vocalist” and nominated in 2017 for “Best Country song” for the song called “Look at What You’ve Done”.
July 19th, 2019 - Taylor Tucky
This country band from Clawson, MI does cover songs from modern and classic country and southern rock favorites. Composed of some of Detroit’s finest musicians they offer three and four part harmonies combined with diverse instrumentation including banjo and mandolin.
July 26th, 2019 - Ian Smith & Company
A local artist with international connections, Ian Smith, was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England where he started entertaining at the age of 16. He has toured Australia, Europe, Canada and the USA. Currently residing in Jeddo, he performs at many local venues doing easy listening rock with songs by Billy Joel, Elton John, the Eagles, Joe Cocker, Neil Diamond and many more.
August 2nd, 2019- Lisa Mary
Lisa is a talented young country singer-songwriter and award-winning recording artist out of Metro Detroit. At just 22 years old, with a four and a half octave vocal range and an electric stage performance, Lisa Mary has been turning heads for the past 6 years as she has continues to wow audiences from all over the United States. In 2017, she was invited to make her debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
August 9th, 2019 - Gasoline Gypsies
They carry the banner of good ole’ time southern style rock, with a ferocious Detroit sound that can easily remind the listener of Detroit legends such as The Rockets, Alice Cooper, the Amboy Dukes, Ted Nugent or Mitch Ryder
August 16th, 2019 - Dynasty
This local group from Port Huron specializes in Oldies and DooWop.
Team One Credit Union will be providing free popcorn this year and the Boy Scouts will be offering soft drinks.
