Sandusky's popular Lawn Chair Music Series by popular request will be continuing it's Friday night series with eight events this summer.
Come join your neighbors for music and more at the gazebo on the courthouse lawn starting at 7:00pm.
In case of rain, our alternative location is at the Maple Valley School building.
June 22nd, 2018 - Bernadette Kathryn and the Lonely Days Band
This year’s series gets kicked off June 22nd with hi-octane country by one of the youngest members of the Country Music Association, Bernadette Kathryn and the Lonely Days Band. She has performed at the CMA Music Fest in Nashville, TN since 2013 and in 2017 was recognized as an emerging artist by the association. Her powerful voice and eclectic music style has been entertaining audiences in venues across America.
June 29th,2018 - Brenda Loomis Band
. Last fall, this band won 1st place in the Milwaukee, WI video contest for America’s Got Talent. With her band, she has shared the stage with national acts such as Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Brett Michaels and many more. With over 140,000 fans on 12,000 music and social network her latest song “I’m raising my standards, so up yours” was her sixth #1 song on Soundclick.com.
July 6th, 2018 - Joey VeeReturning this year from Macomb, MI is one of our most popular country entertainers, Joey Vee. He is a singer, songwriter, and entertainer who plays New Country, Pop, Rock, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and original music in his lively high energy performances. In 2015, he was nominated for a Detroit Music Award for “Best Country Vocalist” and nominated in 2017 for “Best Country song” for the song called “Look at What You’ve Done”.
July 13th, 2018 - Cliff Erickson
Cliff Erickson, who has proven to be one of the Series’ most popular entertainers. From cruise ships in the Greek Isles to venues across the U.S. and Canada, Cliff has electrified audiences for over 30 years. He has sung our national anthem for the Detroit Tigers, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Cleveland Cavaliers; and he’s opened for Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, The Beach Boys, Wynona Judd, and America.
July 20th, 2018 - Ian Smith & Company
A local artist with international connections, Ian Smith, was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England where he started entertaining at the age of 16. He has toured Australia, Europe, Canada and the USA. Currently residing in Jeddo, he performs at many local venues doing easy listening rock with songs by Billy Joel, Elton John, the Eagles, Joe Cocker, Neil Diamond and many more.
July 27th, 2018 - Highballs
This four-piece, high-energy band, performs Rock, Pop, Motown, Soul and British Invasion of the early- to mid-60s, and into the 70s, and beyond. Joining the group will be Eastside Elvis for a special treat this year.
August 3rd, 2018 - Mandi Layne and the Lost Highway
They are an energetic, rockin' country band from Birch Run that formed in 2007. They won the 98.1 KCQ Rising Star Competition 2 years in a row and have been nominated for Best Country Band & Best Songwriter by Review Magazine.
August 10th, 2018 - Floyd King and the Bushwackers
Known as the J. Geils Band of Folk Music they entertain with songs you can stomp your feet to.
Team One Credit Union will be providing free popcorn this year and the Sandusky Drama Club will be offering soft drinks.
